Surprise Cover Reveal and a vote!

Watch Me, the second book in the Shift MC series, comes out next month and you get to see the cover first! This cover reveal is different than others, because I can’t decide on the subtitle. This will influence a change to the other subtitles for book 1 and 3 as well. Think of this as a poll and reply with your vote!

Option 1: Keep the same subtitle as book 1, “An ABO Shifter Romance” and make it easy on myself! The problem? “Abo” is an offensive and racist slur used in Australia to refer to Aboriginal people. Also, not all readers know ABO means omegaverse.

Option 2: Change it to Omegaverse and drop Shifter since Shift is in the series name. Gets to the point, but my books don’t have Mpreg, and book 2 is an alpha with a beta, so not heat. People don’t always read the blurb. More clear then A/B/O.

Option 3: “An MM Shifter Romance” keeps the word shifter and makes it clear the book is queer with MM. Positives being that the third book will be MMM, so it would match/show the difference. Only negative is people not thinking of omegaverse with shifters possibly.

Option 4: “Shift MC Book 2” puts the series name and number as the subtitle. Positives are that you know where it is in the series easily, can update book three to match. Negatives are not saying the info from the other subtitles, but that is all in the blurb.

Watch Me is the second book of the Shift MC series, taking place after Leave Me and Tentacles for Christmas. You don’t have to read the previous books to know what is going on, but there is a continuing cast of characters! The series is about a motorcycle club of wolf shifters set in the woods of Northern California, with ABO shifters and a small town of LGBTQIA+ characters. There is claiming and fated mates, but no mpreg on page.
