Happy Friday, Fricksters!

Can you believe it’s already July? In addition to the shifter novel I’ve been working on all year, I also had surgery on Monday. It was a very much wanted surgery, but it’s still a big deal when they put you asleep…wait, that sounds like I’m dead (this post is pre-scheduled, but I’m I’m very much alive). You’ll find me on social media daily, but I wanted to be sure to get this published, because I’m looking forward to sharing my next release!

Witches & Woodcutters

A queer Hansel-and-Gretel-themed contemporary romance novella was originally published in the Twisted Pride Anthology. It leaves the anthology in 4 weeks, when I’ll publish it as a standalone you can preorder now! This 32K word novella is set in modern Germany on the edge of an ancient forest. Medium angst from outside of the main characters: a young trans man, and a bisexual woodcutter as his love interest.

Rhett was a transgender man who lived with his woodcutter father and little brother, Hansel, in southern Germany. When their father married the worst kind of stepmother, everything changed…

Jakob was looking for his place in life, so he took a job that came with a cabin next door to the former woodcutter, and his children. There was something about Rhett that drew Jakob to him, and he couldn’t get the young man out of his head.

When their father died and the brothers went missing, Jakob suspected the stepmother. Proving his theory and rescuing them is no easy task when he can’t find a trace and there’s more going on than meets the eye…
